Social Networking impact on our young society

Social Networks take an important place on many young people's life. For example Facebook has 1.5 billion active users! So many people! Internet and social networks are growing constantly. There are many examples of this growing such us Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp, Snapchat YouTube.
Young society use them constantly; to watch a video on YouTube, to speak with their friends by Whats App or Facebook, to share their photos by Instagram, to know what is happening around the world by Twitter...
I also use them, my main social network is Twitter. You can use this social network to speak with your friends, upload and share photos and many other usages. I use it to know what is happening around me, I choose what I want to know and I follow it. For example, I like basketball so I follow NBA and basketball news accounts so I can be informed about what is happening in my likes.

I also use Whatsapp constantly to communicate with my friends.
YouTube is also a common social network in my life. Instead of watching a boring TV program you can watch a video of the content that you like on YouTube. You can watch series, documentaries, game plays, craft or cooking tutorials, you can listen music... It has many usages and I found it useful.

It has many advantages such as years ago we used to work a big, heavy and uncomfortable encyclopedia .Whereas, nowadays you can get information very easily from social networks like Wikipedia. Also you can chat instantly with a friend located wherever around the world using many social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram....You can also hear the news whenever you want in social networks like Twitter, Flip board .You can use them to work, LinkedIn is an example of this and you can also find a job very easily. You can ask a question on a social network such as Yahoo and many people are going to help you by answering to fix the problem. You can share information and also get it in real time using Drive, Dropbox etc. Also you can write a article in your blog like I'm doing now.
On the other hand, face to face communication is decreasing because of the social networks as you can see in this webpage. Maybe a person can speak with you with false identity, a person aged for example 40 can tell you that he is a young teenager. Internet and social networks create a lot of lies. Cyber bullying and Crimes Against Children are increasing because of the previous disadvantage. It’s a big time waster ,it's calculated that young people use social networks for more than two hours daily.

Two hours of social media a day are linked with depression in young people. They can steal your private information, nowadays this risk is increasing because of the big use of social networks.

As a conclusion, we can say that social networks are very important in young people. We have to be careful when we are using the social networks, because as we have seen it has many risks and disadvantages. Although, if we use it correctly we can get many benefits that may help us in our life.

London

In this article I'm going to show you how much I like London. As we all know London is the capital of England. It is located in the south of England. I like this city because of so many facts. It's a very nice city formed by many important monuments that we all know.

You can visit many of them but the one that I most like is the London eye. It is a giant Ferris wheel located on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. I recommend you to hop on the attraction. It has a big disadvantage, you have to wait so much time. I've been waiting there half an hour! But when I was in the queue many clowns and mimes were there to entertain us. That's a really nice idea!

This is the queue that I've been talking about

This is the Big Ben bell
When we hear "Big Ben's" name we all think about a clock-tower located in London but that's not the real meaning of the Big Ben. The Big Ben is the name of the big bell located inside the tower. Until 2012 we used to know it as the "Clock Tower", whereas nowadays we know it as the "Elizabeth Tower".

I've been in London twice and it seemed smaller than I thought. I have concluded that every time that I travel to London the tower is getting smaller so maybe after 20 years is going to be smaller than a
hut! The size doesn't matter because the beauty of the tower causes love at first sight with this cute tower.

Elizabeth Alexandra Mary, as well called Elizabeth II, is the queen of the United Kingdom. She is adored by the English citizens. She was born in 21 April 1926. She lives in the Buckingham Palace, this palace is the London residence and principal workplace of the monarchy of the United Kingdom. The palace has more uses, like it has been the stage of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the royal wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton. The property has been under the control of the monarchy since 1761, when it was just known as Buckingham House. Since then, it has been expanded many times. The first monarch to make Buckingham Palace her home was Queen Victoria. This huge palace that makes you feel tiny has so enormous courtyards and royal gardens.

I recommend you to take a a tea at five. When I'd been in  London I drank a tea and I tried some cookies and biscuits. It's a very relaxing place with so wonderful views. In my opinion the food is quite expensive but the place that you taste it reasons this price.

The last interesting point that I'm going to talk about is the north bank of the Thames. Here you can find so many monuments, restaurants, interesting points... In my opinion the most important monument of this place is the Tower of London. As well known as Her Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress, is a historic castle located on the north bank of the River Thames in central London. The Tower of London has played a prominent role in English history. It has been important to controlling the country. The Tower has served variously as an armory, a treasury, a menagerie, the home of the Royal Mint, a public records office, and the home of the Crown Jewels of England.
When I'd been in this castle I was surprised because many wild bird were living there. The ravens of the Tower of London are a group of captive common ravens which live in the Tower of London. The presence of the ravens is traditionally believed to protect the Crown and the Tower; a superstition holds that "If the Tower of London ravens are lost or fly away, the Crown will fall and Britain with it." They are so enormous I've never seen any raven that looks so big!
I suggest you to taste some fish and chips in front of the Tower of London. It's a very typical food from England and you can't return from London without trying this special food.

On front of the castle you would find the Tower Bridge a very iconic monument of London. It is a combined bascule and suspension bridge in London. The bridge crosses the River Thames close to the Tower of London and has become an iconic symbol of London. You can pay for crossing it from the up part. From this gangway you would have so nice views of London. The Tower Bridge is blue because is the favorite color of the Queen.
This picture was taken in 2012 London Olympic games

London is a very nice and wonderful city that I recommend you to visit. You can spend 7 days visiting London and yet you've only seen a small part of it. It's incredible the beauty of this city. If you do not like the hassle of the city you can relax in beautiful and large park. You have many choices to spend your free time. London is a city with a lot of leisure centers. I hope you have enjoyed reading my article and see you next time!
